Southern Gothic Magnets
Description: Carson McCullers wrote about the deep South, and her work is frequently described as Southern Gothic. Despite her poor health and the series of strokes that tormented her since her youth, she gave us a significant number of excellent books: The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, Reflections in a Golden Eye, The Member of the Wedding, The Ballad of the Sad Café. She was a close friend of Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams.
Description: A moonlit Southern mansion becomes the stage for a surreal gothic masquerade, where glamorous showgirls in vivid feathered costumes mingle with a grim gentleman, a pirate, a jester, a ghostly specter and a monstrous ape. Spanish moss drapes the trees, glowing windows pierce the darkness, and eerie green horror lettering crowns the scene. Saturated magenta, violet and turquoise bring theatrical Mardi Gras energy to a vintage pulp nightmare.
Description: The devil's at the crossroads, but the music is divine. This striking tribute pairs a young Buddy Guy—the man who electrified the blues—with the haunting, high-stakes aesthetic of the SINNERS cinematic universe. Capturing the raw soul and dangerous charisma of a legend in his prime, this design is a masterpiece of Southern Gothic cool. Play like a sinner.
