Is the removal of statues justified? If so, then maybe this is for you. Monuments and memorials of ex-slavery owners in response to the George Floyds protests worldwide as the black lives matter movement gained traction is a new talking point. Are removing statues the "burning the books" of the 1984 or is it similar to how Germany has atoned for their part in the history of WW2?
