Description: Wyoming. There stands Devils Tower with its foreboding facade. An enigma to some such as Roy and Gail – two people inexplicably drawn to the landmark. What Roy doesn’t know, however, is that Devils Tower is an intergalactic airport, and he’s about to take a first-class trip to the outer reaches of the universe. Well, actually, no one really knows where exactly he is travelling to, but it appears he’ll be gone for some time. Too bad he forgot to pack his toothbrush (…or maybe, where he is going, there is no need to brush teeth…?).
Description: Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a 1977 American science fiction film written and directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Richard Dreyfuss, Melinda Dillon, Teri Garr, Bob Balaban, Cary Guffey, and François Truffaut. It tells the story of Roy Neary, an everyday blue-collar worker in Indiana, whose life changes after an encounter with a UFO.
Description: A series of movie and series fan art posters that I illustrated using Photoshop (as that's the only software that works on my 14 year old laptop!). I set myself strict rules regarding composition and allowed content. Each poster takes aspects from the movie that stood out to me, without using actors likenesses or being a direct reflection of the official promotional posters. Each design floats centrally on the page, with a solid colour background. I hope you like them :)
