Radio telescopes scan the night sky. Oscilloscopes flicker. Frequency logs accumulate. Somewhere beyond the static, something may be answering. 23.7 MHz. 42.1 MHz. 88.6 MHz. …and still no clear answers. Inspired by Cold War radio astronomy, mid-century scientific instrumentation, forgotten observatories and wonderfully optimistic 1950s science fiction, this distressed faux-agency insignia celebrates humanity’s persistent habit of listening for things we don’t understand.
