Description: The Utica Blue Sox played in the New York-Penn League from 1981-2001, facing the Oneonta Yankees, Jamestown Expos, Niagara Falls White Sox, Little Falls Mets, Newark Orioles, Auburn Astros, St. Catharines Blue Jays, Geneva Cubs, Watertown Pirates, Pittsfield Mets, Erie Sailors, Niagara Falls Rapids, New Jersey Cardinals, Batavia Clippers, Hudson Valley Renegades and more.
Description: The Utica Blizzard played in the Colonial Hockey League (COHL) from 1994 to 1997 at the Utica Memorial Auditorium, replacing the Utica Bulldogs. The team eventually relocated to Winston-Salem, N.C., where they played as the Winston-Salem IceHawks. The Blizzard faced the Quad City Mallards, Flint Generals, Muskegon Fury, Saginaw Lumber Kings, Madison Monsters, Brantford Smoke, Port Huron Border Cats, Dayton Ice Bandits, Thunder Bay Thunder Cats, Detroit Falcons, London Wildcats and more.
