My film poster for The Third Man is my tribute to one of the greatest films of all time, and my very favorite film noir. From the eerie, unique zither music soundtrack to the striking cinematography to the beautiful Vienna, Austria setting to the brilliant writing and directing to the exceptional acting, The Third Man is, quite simply, a perfect film. And Orson Welles was a big part of this perfection.

My first Dogs of War comic is here! This one concerns the Germans and their bad habit of over confidence and over engineering everything. German tanks were high spec and high quality but many broke down before they even made it into the fight.

This is the last in the series of prints I am desiging based on the classic sci fi book The War Of The Worlds. It's slightly out of sequence as I have one more image to complete which is production right now. So the story so far: The Journalist has returned to a war torn London. The city lies in ruin after the Martian attack. As he wanders through the desolate streets he hears the mournful cry of a fighting machine. He resolves to give himself to the Martians as he believes that he is the last man alive. He finds the fighting machine but notices that birds are circling the hood and some are pecking at fleshy shards that hang out of it. He realizes that the Martian inside is dead. Killed by the one thing to which the had no defence -...

The Great Emu War was an unsuccessful 1932 military operation undertaken in Western Australia. Soldiers were armed with Lewis machine guns in an attempt to curb the population of the emus, but while a number of the birds were killed, the emus proved too smart and agile for the humans, and the birds emerged victorious. Emus remain plentiful in the areas outside of Perth to this day.

The Hawker Typhoon in its day was one of the fastest planes in the air. When the Spitfires couldn't keep up, these were sent out. This plane bares the familiar invasion stripes that were originally applied pre-invasion to Typhoons to ensure they were not mistaken for FW190s as they had a similar profile.

The Russian made T34 was one of the best, most rugged and practical tanks of ww2. This fighting vehicle was innovative and easy to mass produce. Although not the best tank of the war, in great numbers it was an effective weapon and one of the best fielded by the Soviet Union. This one is crewed by those pesky dogs of war and is an up-gunned version of the original T34 design. The T34/85

The Dead Rabbits were a notorious Irish-American gang that roamed the streets of old New York in a notorious slum known as the Five Points. It was a time when only the tough could survive. Personal grievances, business competition, and even political differences were often settled with fists. The Dead Rabbits’ nemesis would be a Nativist gang known as the Bowery Boys. Violence was golden as America struggled to define itself, but the struggle helped shape the character of the USA, and came to define the hard-working, hard-fighting, hard-drinking American immigrant.
