The Royal National Theatre, designed by Sir Denys Lasdun in 1977, is like a beautiful, brutal 3D image. From certain viewpoints, the building's corresponding parts assemble in front of your eyes to form evocative images - like this angle, where it looks unmistakably like the prow of a ship!

The coronation emblem - which will feature throughout May’s historic celebrations- pays tribute to The King’s love of the natural world, depicting the flora of the four nations in the shape of St Edward’s Crown.

Every year since 2000 the Serpentine Gallery in London's has commissioned a temporary summer pavilion by a leading architect. The series presents the work of an international architect or design team who has not completed a building in England at the time of the Gallery's invitation. Each Pavilion is completed within six months and is situated on the Gallery's lawn for three months for the public to explore. Diébédo Francis Kéré is an award winning architect from Burkina Faso and set up the Kéré Foundation; dedicated to help Gando, Burkina Faso serve as a hub of innovation in agriculture, education, infrastructure and sanitation. In 2017 the Serpentine Galleries commissioned Kéré to design the Serpentine Pavilion in London.

London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. At its centre stand the imposing Houses of Parliament, the iconic ‘Big Ben’ clock tower and Westminster Abbey, site of British monarch coronations. Across the Thames River, the London Eye observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank cultural complex, and the entire city.

A fun, bright, energetic and colourful carnival of a design - a combination of two elaborate repeats - Westminster Mandala and Lotus Mandala - create a Boho Rococo eyecatching repeat. All designed by hand in watercolour on paper by Maine artist Patricia Shea.

Two patterns and one mandala motif layered to create a delicious decorative delight - pastel carousel mandala over lotus mandala pattern over Manchester textile - combine to create another design confection by designer Patricia Shea. All originally hand painted in watercolour on paper.

County Hall, London, as seen from Westminster Bridge, 1990, before the London Eye was built. County Hall (sometimes called London County Hall) is a building in London that was the headquarters of London County Council (LCC) and later the Greater London Council (GLC). The building is on the South Bank of the River Thames, with Westminster Bridge being next to it, to the south. It is now a tourist attraction and hotel.

Victoria Tower, London, England. At the opposite end of the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) from the Clock Tower (Big Ben) is the Victoria Tower. The Tower holds the Parliamentary Archives. When the wrought iron flagstaff was put into position in 1855 the Tower was proudly claimed to be the largest and highest square tower in the world, 323 feet high to the base of the flagstaff and a further 72 feet to the top of the Crown at its summit.
