William Mary Magnets
Description: Sugar-coated melody dragged through a wall of feedback. “Honey / Static” turns the beautiful-versus-brutal tension of Scottish noise pop into a distressed underground print: dripping sweetness, blown-out guitar signal, xerox silhouettes and red misregistered type. Made for listeners who prefer their pop songs buried beneath several layers of beautiful noise.
Description: The Stuart dynasty was a period of English, Scottish, and Irish history that lasted from 1603 to 1714. It was marked by civil wars, religious conflicts, the union of Scotland and England, and the rise of parliamentary power. Key monarchs include James I, Charles I, Charles II, James II, and William III. The Glorious Revolution saw William III replace James II as king, leading to constitutional changes and the beginning of the modern British monarchy.
