Yuppie Magnets
Description: Yacht rock (originally known as the West Coast sound or adult-oriented rock is a broad music style and aesthetic commonly associated with soft rock, one of the most commercially successful genres from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, and disco, common stylistic traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies. Its name, coined in 2005 by the makers of the online video series Yacht Rock, was derived from its association with the popular Southern Californian leisure activity of boating.
Description: This early '80s 'love to eat them preppies' design is a fun parody of the classic 'love to eat them mousies' tee that was popular in the same era. In this version, the cat has been replaced with an alligator strumming along as he sings his song, seemingly mocking the preppies and their popped collar polos sporting his iconic image.
Description: Are you all about the yacht rock? Grab your loafers and a nice glass of chardonnay because we are gonna rock out in style tonight! See you at the yacht club! This design would look smashing worn on your yacht. No yacht no worries it looks great on any canoe, raft, or inflatable something.
Description: I'm on my way, I'm making it I've got to make it show, yeah Yeah It' so much larger than life I'm gonna watch it growing The place where I come from, Is a small town They think so small They use small words But not me In spite of that I worked it out I've been stretching my mouth To let those big words come right out
