Originally drawn on October 1st, 2019 as part of my Inktober 2019 series. The prompt for the day was "Ring," & I drew the my mother on her wedding day. Fun Fact: this is the first drawing I EVER posted under the name "VeryWellVary." This is the DARK version of the design, which prints in black white & grey. This design looks the same no matter what color you choose to print on (unlike the LIGHT version of this design).

I emailed Jake Parker of Inktober fame and he was kind enough to reply. I do 95% of my work digitally and so I asked if it would be ok to do the daily sketch digitally on my iPad. He said it would but that if I wanted to challenge myself and improve as an artist I should try to just use traditional media. I drew the concept in pencil then sketch over that. Challenge accepted.
