Sitting Pretty Mug

'Sitting Pretty' is an original coloured pencil drawing. It depicts a girl wearing a red, polka dot dress, riding a chestnut pony. Many, many hours have gone into this piece, building up layer upon layer in order to produce the rich depth of colour and level of detail associated with coloured pencil works. I've purposefully left the background loose and with a speckled texture in order to help keep the focus of attention on the main subject. The crop makes for an eye catching composition, worthy of gracing the wall of any horse lover or riding enthusiast's home.
