Illustration from the Great War Vol 10 published in 1918. London buses were used as a ferry service between reserve troop headquarters & the front line. Outward journey took reliefs & reinforcements & on the return journey bringing back men to the rest camps who had finished their spell in the trenches. Somewhere in the region of 900-1000 buses were redeployed from the capital to the war many drivers also went with them. Please note with regard to scanned antique prints there may be some age related marks or faults from the originals which will show also on any print ordered.
