COWNOSE BLUES... Mug

Its not very often that you can make 'art' from something that's dead and get away with it... but ever since a 'little boy' who would often collect flotsam and jetsam off the beaches ~ creating collections in the sand ~ I have been fascinated with the Ocean and all its wonders... To this day ~ I wonder 'why' we don't seem to have 'enough respect' and 'love' for the Oceans... as I approach middle age ~ nothing seems to have changed ~ in fact things have gotten worse... I sit here in my studio, a 'grown up' ~ listening to blues music ~ and ruminate over the loss of such a 'critical species' ~ the sharks.
