Deep within the wreck ~ almost like 'rusticles' bleeding from its interior ~ lies a very delicate red gorgonian sea-fan. These attractive coral 'animals' filter the zooplankton whizzing through the currents. Extremely hazardous to photograph due to its deep location and deep within the wreck area ~ this 'gorgonid' sea-fan is difficult to locate and get a clear shot of due to darkness and hindered by currents ripping through and channeling through the wreck. Disturbance of sediment in such areas, besides potentially spoiling the shot ~ makes it an extremely challenging area to be in ~ and the chance of a 'silt out' preventing the diver from their exit strategy from deep within the wreck ~ is high.
