The amazing colours of this original abstract flower art really stand out, the yellows red green and white blocks are all emphasised by the added abstract black shapes. The flower is distinctive as a yellow lily yet it looks mysterious as well. This abstract image of this yellow lily was painted from a photograph that I took of a very pretty yellow lily growing in my garden, I digitally enhanced the photo on my computer and then gathered my soft pastels together and painted this yellow lily flower picture. I used soft pastel because it’s a favourite medium of mine and it gives the painting a “soft” and slightly “fuzzy” look and feel.
