Description: Library of Alexandria - The Great Library of Alexandria in Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. The Library was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion, which was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts.
Description: The Alexandria Aces played in independent baseball's Texas-Louisiana League from 1994 to 2001, the Central Baseball League from 2002 to 2003, United League Baseball from 2006 to 2008 and in 2013, and in the Texas Collegiate League from 2010 to 2012. The Aces, who played at Bringhurst Field, faced the Amarillo Dillas, Beaumont Bullfrogs, Mobile Baysharks, San Angelo Colts, San Antonio Tejanos, Tyler Wildcatters, Lubbock Crickets, Abilene Prairie Dogs, Pueblo Bighorns, Laredo Apaches, Jackson DiamondKats, Ozark Mountain Ducks, Coastal Bend Aviators, Corpus Christi Barracudas, Greenville Bluesmen, Fort Worth Cats, Edinburg Coyotes, Laredo Broncos, Edinburg Roadrunners and more.
