Description: I've been wanting to do some sort of Aztec or Mayan inspired design. In my search for reference material, I found a Mayan sculpture depicting life, death, and rebirth. It wasn't quite what I was looking for, but the design really grabbed me. While the inspiration depicts life's stages, my design is simple. Skin, muscle and bone. One of the fun goals with this drawing was making the muscles and bone appear somewhat accurate based on the face, which was drawn first. The proportions are not accurate by any means and it created a challenge as the drawing got more and more complex. Anyways. There's the inspiration and a little extra info for the design. I hope you enjoy. http://www.artisticdyslexia.com/
