Baseball Number 1 Mugs
Description: Lou Whitaker jersey number 1 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic Detroit Tigers game-worn jersey. Sweet Lou was one half of the greatest double play combination in baseball history alongside Alan Trammell — a 1984 World Series champion, three-time Gold Glove winner, and five-time All-Star who spent his entire 19-year career in Detroit.
Description: Richie Ashburn jersey number 1 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic game-worn jersey. Whitey was one of the finest defensive center fielders and most consistent hitters of the 1950s — two batting titles, a Hall of Famer, and a player so beloved in Philadelphia that his later career as a broadcaster made him even more iconic than his playing days.
Description: Bobby Murcer jersey number 1 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic game-worn jersey. Murcer was the player tasked with replacing Mickey Mantle in center field — a burden he carried with grace and skill, becoming a five-time All-Star and one of the most beloved Yankees of the 1970s. His later career as a broadcaster made him an institution in New York sports.
Description: Milt Pappas jersey number 30 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic Chicago Cubs game-worn jersey. Pappas has one of the most heartbreaking near-misses in baseball history — on September 2, 1972, he retired the first 26 batters he faced before the umpire called ball four on a 3-2 count to the 27th batter, denying him a perfect game. He settled for a no-hitter, but the story of what almost was has never been forgotten.
Description: Elroy Face jersey number 17 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic game-worn jersey. Face was the most dominant reliever of his era — his 18-1 record in 1959 remains one of the most remarkable single season pitching performances in baseball history, and his forkball was so devastating it made him the prototype for the modern closer. A 1960 World Series champion and cult hero in Pittsburgh.
Description: Pee Wee Reese jersey number 1 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic Brooklyn Dodgers game-worn jersey. Reese was the captain of the Boys of Summer — a Hall of Famer, 1955 World Series champion, and one of baseball's most important moral figures whose public embrace of Jackie Robinson in Cincinnati helped legitimize Robinson's place in the game.
