Burma Mugs
Description: Mashup based in the north-american alternative cult band Hüsker Dü. There's not much official merch and the band doesn't exist for decades, so I thought I could create some new of my liking. Hüsker Dü was a band famous for having two excellent songwriters with different styles that wrote awesome songs: *Bob Mould* and Grant Hart. So I thought I could make a design for each one of them, so you can choose your favourite Hüsker Dü songwriter. This is Bob Mould's version and you can note it by the words Celebrated Summer, the name of one of his most famous songs. https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/2636834-husker-du-logo?store_id=158034
Description: Burma-Shave was introduced in 1925 by the Burma-Vita Co. of Minneapolis. The company's original product was a liniment with ingredients described as being "from the Malay Peninsula and Burma" (hence its name). Sales were sparse, and the company sought to expand sales by introducing a product with wider appeal. The result was the Burma-Shave brand of brushless shaving cream and its supporting advertising program using humorous rhyming poems on small sequential signs along highways. Sales increased and at its peak, Burma-Shave was the second-highest-selling brushless shaving cream in the US. Sales began declining in the '50s and in 1963 the company was sold and by the end of the decade, Burma-Shave would be no more.
Description: Before alternative rock had a blueprint, there was noise echoing through the streets of Boston. Inspired by the explosive guitars, fractured rhythms, and experimental tape loops of Mission of Burma, this distressed 1980s underground artwork captures the tension of a forgotten post-punk gig flyer. Industrial signals, concrete shadows, and raw analog energy collide in a tribute to one of America's most uncompromising underground bands.
