Circassian Ornament Mugs

Description: A tribute to dyshche ide, the Circassian art of gold embroidery once taught to every noble daughter: trefoil leaves and curling tendrils in couched gold thread, framed by zigzag and lozenge borders, on deep black. The ornamental language of the Adyghe wardrobe, from the sae dress to the golden cap. Elegant on shirts and striking on mugs, notebooks and totes.

Description: A guest is a messenger from God — the Circassian hospitality proverb in warm classic serif with a tendril ornament. For every household whose door and table are always open. A gracious gift for hosts.
