Simple Abstract Shapes in Pastel Colors

I decided to put my ideas and skills to the test and create some abstract art for a change, with the help of Photoshop and online tutorials. Not too difficult to make and the nice thing about it is that you never know what you are going to get until the end. Thus it is always a surprise of what you intend of doing beforehand and what it ends up looking like. With some designs just when you think it is not going to work, it suddenly turns out to be just what the doctor ordered. I call these designs of mine the twister designs because of the twisting colour effects I use in this art. The T-Shirt market is highly competitive and one just never knows what works and what not, but I hope you like this abstract colourful new art of mine too.

The NEW YORK Times Square painting is a representation of excitement in colour, shape and contrast. The background colours come through adding to the three dimensional thickly applied paint which is exaggerated by the lights reflected on its surface adding excitment and colour.

Today's inktober prompt was Pattern, this was the only thing I could think of.

This nature inspired design with a sunrise setting shows the humble hummingbird drinking nectar from a flower. With each flower offering very little nectar, the Hummingbird wastes no time, avoids any distractions and moves on to the next flower until its had its fill. Now if only we were like that!

Here I find a wonderful café with cream cakes and silver tea pots and faded, retro beauty, A portal to another decade, to another time. I am transfixed by the blue and the pink stucco, and by the vivid colors of the shop fronts. This is my secret corner of London that forever belongs to me. The painting is a wonderful gift of London and a perfect addition to any collection.
