Crow Silhouette Mugs
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”, one of the most cherished of the Psalms, is illustrated here with the Bible in a wooden lamp and the hand of God holding it for all who seek guidance, comfort and protection during dark and trying times.

From the series “Black crows”, graphite on paper. original size: 50 x 38 cm. 2006. In some drawings made with the only use of the pencil, when the artist is able at creating the illusion of soft shadows, nuances of color, fadings, and an infinity of shades of gray, the drawing is enriched with a kind of sensuality, a subtle sense of eroticism. The viewer experiences this sensuality, when he observes the drawing, as well as the artist, when he makes it. In this series of drawings the subject chosen is a mere pretext to practice this strange alchemy. These works are a sort of declaration of love and servitude to this instrument of representation. www.saatchiart.com/ico71

Kokopelli (pronounced "Coke-a-pellie") comes to us from the folklore of the Anasazi and Hopi. Petroglyphs depicting the flute player date back to 1,000 BC. He was their deity of fertility, healing and mischief. He was also known to be a bit of a Casanova. Legends and stories about Kokopelli are plentiful throughout the southwest and as winter sets in here in the north country our favorite is that when he plays his flute, the sun comes out, the snow melts, grass begins to grow, birds sing, and all the animals gather to hear his songs. It was believed that good luck came to all who listened to Kokopelli's songs. He embodies everything pure and spiritual in music. His flute symbolizes joy. It's magic sparks creativity and helps dreams come true. Fight back against Old Man Winter this year! Wrap yourself in one of our toasty warm hoodies and let the spirit of Kokopelli warm your heart and cheer you spirit on winters darkest days.

This digitally designed blue robot/alien with a yellow top hat and vest was originally designed an avatar I use when I play Texas Holdem. I was going for a look that would intimidate the other players at the table while they try to decide if they should raise, holdem or foldem.
