Operation Eagle Pull was the United States military evacuation by air of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 12 Airport. With a Khmer Rouge victory imminent, the US government made contingency plans for the evacuation of US nationals and alliedApril 1975. The UH-60A entered service with the U.S. Army in 1979, to replace the Bell UH-1 Iroquois as the Army's tactical transport helicopter. This was followed by the fielding of electronic warfare and special operations variants of the Black Hawk. Improved UH-60L and UH-60M utility variants have also been developed. Modified versions have also been developed for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. In addition to U.S. Army use, the UH-60 family has been exported to several nations. Black Hawks have served in combat during conflicts in Grenada, Panama, Iraq, Somalia, the Balkans, Afghanistan, and other areas in the Middle East.

The 95th Evacuation Hospital originally constituted as the 74th Surgical Hospital 21 December 1928. It was activated at Fort Warren, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 1 June 1941. The hospital was then reorganized and re-designated as the 95th Evacuation Hospital 14 August 1942. It was deactivated at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, 3 December 1954.The 95th Evacuation Hospital was again activated on 26 March 1963 and deactivated in Vietnam 28 March 1973. The 95th Evacuation Hospital was activated in Heidelberg, Germany for operation during the Gulf War 15 November 1994.

The 93rd Evacuation Hospital was a make-over of the 61st Surgical Hospital and operated through World War II, Vietnam, and the Gulf War.

During the Vietnam War the 93rd Evacuation Hospital admitted 73,023 patients, treated 9,353 battle casualties, and had over 232,581 out-patient visits. The 93rd Evacuation Hospital particiated in and received 13 campaign streamers, and depicted on 3 streamers for sustained and outstanding performance of duty. The unit recieved the Meritorious Unit Citation (with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters), and the Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honor Medal, First Class Streamer Vietnam 69-70.
