Description: High waist, no petticoat, sexy AF. Isn’t she marvelous? The brief vogue circa 1800 for wearing thin muslin gowns dipped in water so they cling to everything may be apocryphal, but isn’t it fun to think it was real? Another entry in my Historical Fatties series, she’s almost as cute as you are. You’re cuter, though.

Description: Is she a flapper? I dunno! Maybe. She’s wearing a snazzy dress anyway, peak of fashion for 1923-ish. Big hat, big belt, big heart. And some sweet kidskin gloves. I love 1920s silhouettes on fat figures, because all the fashion plates and famous figures from the era were very slim. But there were fat people, and some of them were really fashionable because why wouldn’t they be? Get your Gatsby on with this design.
Description: Drew the moon as a celestial mermaid. This quote means that even in the darkest moments of our lives, there is still hope and beauty to be found. Just like how the night sky may be dark, but it's also filled with stars that shine brightly. It reminds us that when we face challenges or difficult times, we should keep pushing forward and trust that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. So, even in the toughest of times, we should never lose hope and always strive to find the beauty and positivity that surrounds us.
