I think its something about the tactile nature of traditional art. Description: My most Canadian painting! A Canadian goose in flight. I loved painting the feathers on this one, so intricate, so colourful despite being “brown”. ps. I'd love to name Branta canadensis by it's common name, but it's trademarked. So I recognize that it is not a "Canadian" goose by name but can't call it that here!
