Flq Mugs

It's the FLQ flag. Or, it's an FLQ flag. Their flag design cell must have been either the most overworked motherfuckers, or the most bored motherfuckers. Either way, they made too many flag designs. I recognize it doesn't make a pretty shirt, but that's the kind of bullshit an Anglo oppressor would care about.

The FLQ is what you redirect conversation to when an American "friend" brings up the Squamish Five, after which you feel a weird internal revulsion because you just defended Canada, as if you're some sort of patriot shit who can't take it being belittled, but then you remember the FLQ were Quebecois, not Canadian, and you don't know what to make of that what are you doing why has it come to this like what the hell does any of this mean? But then you say Paul Rose had better hair in other pictures and 20 minutes later you're all marveling over how attractive Stalin was when he was young, and you're in a whole other kind of crisis.

The FLQ survived many changes in personnel and ideology, changing from a Quebec nationalist group to a Marxist-Leninist group active across the world, to an RCMP front infiltrated to the gills. Some periods were better than others...
