Description: The Silver Slipper was a casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Winchester, Nevada. It opened on September 1, 1950. It was built just north of the Frontier hotel-casino, and they both shared the same ownership, although the Silver Slipper's gaming operations were later leased out. Businessman Howard Hughes leased the casino from 1968 until his death in 1976.
Description: Three Coins Motel opened at 3633 South Las Vegas Boulevard in the 1960s. Galaxy Motel opened at 3655 South Las Vegas Boulevard in the 1960s. Three Coins Motel and Galaxy Motel became a part of the Bonanza Hotel in 1967. Bonanza Hotel and Casino opened on July 1, 1967. Galaxy Motel separated from Bonanza Casino and Hotel in 1973. Bonanza Hotel and Casino closed in 1973. The Bonanza casino and the Three Coins Motel wing are demolished in 1973. Galaxy Motel is demolished in 1987.
