Description: Ink illustration of an endangered adult ring-tailed lemur, this is the third in a trio of illustrations depicting a lemur walking. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and and an Akashiya Sai ink brush pen for the darkest areas. The ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) is the most famous species of lemur, well known for their long black and white striped tail, they have soft, thick fur which a greyish brown on the body.

Lemurs are a primate found only on the Island of Madagascar, many species of lemur are endangered.
