These characters were inspired by the 1986 cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China. There's Jack Burton as the big goofball all American trucker who believes he's the hero everybody needs and the villainous, Lo Pan who is a powerful wizard cursed with no flesh and is seven feet tall. Then there is little old, Egg Shen with his six demon bag who is equally a powerful wizard and Lo Pan's eternal nemesis. The only female is the lovely, spirited Gracie Law who is a lawyer from Chinatown protecting immigrant rights and lastly, the true hero of the bunch is Wang Chi. His pursuit to rescue his beloved Miao Yin is what all the trouble is about.

This design was inspired by the 1985 martial arts classic, The Last Dragon. A cult classic of the 80's that still gets me amped during the final fight between Bruce Leroy and Sho'Nuff, the Shogun of Harlem. The build up to Leroy's point of realization that he is the master, is what does it for me and countless fans of the adage from Buddha: we make our own path by own common sense.

This design was inspired by the horrific scene in the 1987 scifi classic, RoboCop when Emil, a member of Clarence Boddicker's gang crashes his truck into a toxic waste vat.

The character, Lo Pan is a powerful sorcerer cursed with no flesh and is seven feet tall is inspired by the 1986 cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China. He must sacrifice a girl with dragon green eyes to appease Ching Dai who will release the curse upon David Lo Pan.

This design was inspired by the 1988 action blockbuster, Die Hard. An out of town, jet lagged grinch at his wife's company Christmas party is the only hope they've got when International terrorists storm the building. John McClane isn't some poor old schmuck, he's a cop!
