The success of the Gambler-based cars led to countless copycats and many of the original design features are now standard among modern chassis builders. While Gambler built sprint cars are long out of production, most of those they made are still tearing up the track and are hardly sought after by racers, so when one comes up for sale, it's safe to say that it doesn't stay on the market for very long.

The complex was famous for its lavish Christmas decorations, meticulous landscaping, and expansive gardens. Twitty City remained a popular tourist stop throughout the '80s and into the early '90s, and was shut down in 1994 following a year-long tribute show called 'Final Touches.' The complex was eventually auctioned off and converted into a Christian music venue, which still operates as such today.
