Description: This design is based on a beautiful painting by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. I really love that Shepherdess painting and wanted to do a homage in my style. Making the shepherdess a grim reaper figure tells a whole different story than the original… Makes it more sinister and macabre. I love the sheep and the innocence of the lamb and how weirdly peaceful the sheep looks while Death is taking away the lamb. I have to thank Bouguereau for painting such a wonderful communication between the figures, he truly was a great master.

Description: A sheep in wolf's clothing. My intention with this one was to make a piece about self-expression. We all wear masks, faces we want to show to the world, we also become those masks and sometimes they're not there to hide behind, but to communicate more clearly who we are. Also may refer to the situation when the anonymity of the mask makes people allow themselves to do terrible and horrible things. Anyway, masks are fascinating, wouldn't you agree?
