Io moth illustration

The Io Moth is a very cool moth that lives in North America. It’s yellow with purplish markings, and the caterpillar form is green with poisonous antlers and brambles all over it. Even just brushing the spikes on the caterpillar can cause serious pain, like fire. The name “Io” is a character from Greek mythology who is associated with moons, and it’s also the name of a large moon of Jupiter.
