Description: Jesse McCartney is an American singer, songwriter, and actor who splits his time between music and acting. Born in Ardsley, New York in 1987, he first found fame in the late 1990s as JR Chandler on the soap opera All My Children. He then joined the boy band Dream Street, who released one gold-selling album before disbanding in 2002. McCartney went solo in 2004 with the hit single "Beautiful Soul", which went platinum in the US and Australia.
