Description: Located on Union Street in Boston's North End, the Green Dragon Tavern was a hotbed of activity in pre-revolutionary Boston. In 1764, the tavern was sold to the St. Andrew's Lodge of Freemasons. The tavern's "Long Room" was used by several clubs and caucuses for private and public meetings. Consider what was planned in that room...Historians have come to refer to the famed spot as the "Headquarters of the Revolution."
