Description: In October of 2021, Retro Supply Co. (maker of vintage-inspired digital brushes, textures, etc.) sponsored the #FrightFall drawing challenge. I took the opportunity to create images heavily inspired by classic/vintage Halloween art and decorations, but with my own twists (particularly with regard to color). This was the image I created for the prompt "Bad Luck".
Description: Jolly Buddha says "rub my belly for good luck" which seems like as good a way to go as any, so why not? This shirt is great for people who want other people to randomly touch them, but not so much for those who don't like people. Or touching. This design is nicely faded and distressed with plenty of simulated chips and cracks, giving it a genuine vintage look.
Description: Lacey, Washington, was originally called Woodland after settlers Isaac and Catherine Wood, who claimed land there in 1853. When the railroad came through in 1891, residents decided it was time to apply for a post office. The request was denied because there was already a town called Woodland on the Columbia River. They decided to call the city Lacey and got a post office, though the city of wasn't officially incorporated until 1966. One year later, The Loose Caboose Tavern opened in Lacey, and quickly became a popular watering hole for the locals, many of which commuted to Olympia, Fort Lewis, and to some extent, Tacoma, for work, but came how every night to tie one on at their favorite tavern,
