Magic Flight Mugs
Description: It's a small world after all! This design was inspired by one of my favorite attractions: It's a Small World! It was created with lots of love for Elizabeth's Grotto! Description: This is my second owl watercolour piece after enjoying working on the first so much. For whatever reason they translate really well to paintings. This time I worked on a barn owl, there's a lot less detail in these types as opposed to the spotted eagle owl, so I tried out a new background technique to help the animal stand out more. I think this piece has a fantasy based quality to it, mixing the subject matter and the background, it wasn't my initial aim, but I do like the end result.
