Description: Open every Saturday, the kind of weekend that has its own typography. A vintage wood-framed sandwich board chalkboard sign design with hand-chalked headline lettering, decorative chalk flourishes, and scattered chalk produce doodles, including carrots, tomatoes on the vine, a beet, a sprig of herbs, a bee, and a tiny striped tent at the bottom. Warm cinnamon wood frame, deep forest green chalkboard, hand-chalked cream typography with imperfect coverage. Reads exactly like the sandwich board outside the cafe you can never resist. Perfect for the slow-living homebody whose only Saturday non-negotiable is the market, the cottagecore foodie, the seasonal eater, the canvas-tote enthusiast, and anyone whose weekend ritual involves heirloom tomato

Description: Saturday morning has its own honor system. A hand-drawn homemade cardboard garage sale sign design with wonky marker hand-lettering and a fat arrow pointing toward the find of the day, all on a slightly torn-edged kraft cardboard with the casual stapled-to-a-stake feel of the real thing. The phrase reads exactly like the signs you actually pull over for, complete with a TODAY 8AM detail and a small dollar sign doodle in the corner. Perfect for the proud homebody whose only exception to staying in is a good Saturday lawn sale, the thrifter who treats weekends like a sport, the antiquer, the flea market regular, and anyone whose weekends officially begin when they spot a hand-drawn arrow on a telephone pole. Makes a great gift for the bargain

Description: Today, Seattle’s Pioneer Square is celebrated for its historic charm, but in the early 1900s it was the city’s roughest district, packed with saloons, brothels, gambling dens, and vice. By the 1960s, much of that gritty nightlife had shifted north along First Avenue, where peep shows, tattoo parlors, dive bars, and adult bookstores dominated the strip. At First and Pike stood The Donut House, a 24-hour donut shop opened in 1958 that became a popular late-night hangout. During the 1970s, it gained notoriety for its ties to drugs, prostitution, violence, and runaway teens. After a fatal stabbing and a major criminal investigation, the owner was eventually imprisoned in 1980, bringing an end to one of Seattle’s most infamous institutions.
