Description: Wombats are such awesome creatures; they are a perfect spirit animal. They’re mostly nocturnal. They have short legs and strong muscular butts. They build their homes underground and in times of danger, like bushfires they welcome other animals in to keep them safe. Best spirit animal ever.

Description: Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo is native to the rainforests of New Guinea. Like other tree-kangaroos, Goodfellow’s tree-kangaroo is quite different in appearance from terrestrial kangaroos. Unlike its land dwelling cousins, its legs are not disproportionately large compared to its forelimbs which are strong and end in hooked claws for grasping tree limbs, and it has a long tail for balance. All of these features help it with a predominantly arboreal existence. Photo taken at Taronga Zoo, Sydney on a Nikon Coolpix P610.
