Description: Rommbu first arrived on Earth when his race sent him to the planet to demand humanity's surrender. John Hunter, an escaped geologist convicted of armed robbery, was hiding out from the police in Rommbu's spaceship, and managed to trick Rommbu into landing the ship in an active volcano, seemingly killing them both when it erupted. Created by Jack Kirby in 1961 for TALES OF SUSPENSE #19, he pre-dates the Marvel Universe.
