Michelangelos David Mugs
Description: There are those who would ban fine art such as Michelangelo's David, one of the finest sculptures ever produced, because they perceive it to be somehow offensive. I say this is fine art, fine art needs to be talked about, preserved, displayed and learned from. This design features an image of that famous sculpture, along with the words ART MATTERS. Description: Michelangelo's classic sculpture DAVID. These days, people are so offended by the human form that we decided to add a banner, call it a modesty banner, that reads ART MATTERS. Why does art matter? Art matters because it illuminates the human condition. Art brings beauty and truth to a world that often does not have enough of either. And art is humanity at its most creative. This ART MATTERS design makes a great gift for art historians, art history teachers, painters, museum workers, artists and lovers of fine art.
