Description: The Vacanti Mouse, or the "Earmouse" was created by Joseph and Charles Vacanti as part of research to learn more about creating synthetic body parts for humans. There were actually several vacanti mice, which were immunocomprimised naked mice with synthetic, ear-shaped, biodegradable scaffoldings surgically implanted under their skin, seeded with cow cartiledge cells.
