Description: 直江兼続: Naoe Kanetsugu, 愛を掲げ、義を貫く: "Ai wo kakage, Gi wo tsuranuku", literally mean "Spread the love, Implement the justice", in the background is the kamon (family crest) of Naoe, Mitsu Yama (三つ山) or "Three mountain", on top is the armor set of Kanetsugu, with the unique samurai helmet of Kanetsugu that have the character "love" mounted, at the bottom is the samurai signature of Kanetsugu.
Description: Loyal to the Uesugi, and devout Buddhist exemplified by the Japanese character on his helmet which means "Love" likely referring to one of the Buddhist divines than explicitly the act of loving consider a samurai usually... you know... unalives people... But we never know unless the man rises from the grave and explicitly tells her what he was going for.
