New England Mugs
Description: Originally based in Boston, the team joined the WHA in the league’s inaugural season, and was known as the New England Whalers throughout its time in the WHA. The Whalers moved to Hartford in 1974 and joined the NHL in the NHL–WHA merger of 1979. Became the Carolina Hurricanes.
Description: A digital watercolor painting captures the essence of stick season in Dixville Notch State Park, depicting a quiet stream winding through a leafless forest. The trees stand bare, their skeletal branches reaching skyward, while patches of ice cling to the stream’s edges, hinting at the coming winter. Muted earthy tones blend with soft grays and cool blues, creating a serene yet melancholic atmosphere. The flowing water reflects the overcast sky, adding depth and movement to the tranquil scene.
Description: New England Beach Strolling is an art print I created using an impasto oil technique. This technique uses bold brush strokes and bright colors creating a traditional oil painting look. This particular print depicts people strolling on a beach. The setting is the coastal region of New England from Martha’s Vineyard up through Maine. The scenery is beautiful with a number of quaint fishing villages and heavily wooded landscapes. Description: The New England Steamrollers were a former Arena Football League based in Providence, Rhode Island. The team played in the AFL's 1988 season. The Steamrollers were one of four teams to enter the AFL in 1988, and along with the New York Knights and Los Angeles Cobras were folded following the season. The Steamrollers were based out of Providence, Rhode Island and played their home games at the Providence Civic Center. They were the first professional football team of any kind to play in Providence since the Providence Steam Roller folded in 1933 and the first non-minor league professional sports franchise to play in the city since the NBA's Providence Steamrollers folded in 1949.
