Rabbit Retro Mugs
Description: Ricochet Rabbit & Droop-a-Long was a segment of Hanna-Barbera's 1964–1966 cartoon The Magilla Gorilla Show, and later appeared on The Peter Potamus Show. Taking place in a Wild West setting, Ricochet Rabbit (voiced by Don Messick) worked as a sheriff in the town of Hoop 'n' Holler. Ricochet would bounce off stationary objects yelling "Bing-bing-bing!" His deputy and foil Droop-a-Long Coyote (voiced by Mel Blanc impersonating Ken Curtis) was not as fast and was very clumsy. In addition to his speed, which enabled him to outrun bullets, Ricochet used trick bullets against his opponents, including a bullet that would stop in mid-flight and strike the target with an impossibly oversized mallet, and another which would draw
Description: Black Knight: None shall pass. King Arthur: What? Black Knight: None shall pass. King Arthur: I have no quarrel with you, good Sir Knight, but I must cross this bridge. Black Knight: Then you shall die. King Arthur: I command you, as King of the Britons, to stand aside! Black Knight: I move for no man. King Arthur: So be it! [rounds of melee, with Arthur cutting off the left arm of the black knight.] King Arthur: Now stand aside, worthy adversary. Black Knight: Tis but a scratch. King Arthur: A scratch?! Your arm's off! Black Knight: No it isn't. King Arthur: Well what's that then? [Pointing to the knight's arm lying on the ground.] Black Knight: I've had worse. King Arthur: You liar! Black Knight: Come on then, you pansy!
Description: Before there was a mouse, there was a rabbit, and his name was Oswald. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was created in 1927 by Ub Iwerks for WDC. This familiar-looking rabbit was a precursor to the anthropomorphic rodent that would become known worldwide, but had the distributor of Oswald's earliest cartoons not surreptitiously claimed the rights to the character, guests at the most magical place on earth would be welcomed by a rabbit and not a mouse...
Description: What do you get when you mash up hot rods and monsters? In 1980, the answer would have been Weird Wheels trading card stickers. Featuring a checklist of colorful creations along the lines of the late '60s Odd Rods cards, the set blends Kustom Kulture with matinée horror. The cards themselves have monsters and other creatures driving absurdly customized cars, trucks, and motorcycles. As cool as the cards looked, they came out at a time when the Kustom Kulture was well past its peak, and the set flopped, but that doesn't mean they're still not cool! This one features the 'Hot Rabbit' in his triple drive wheel hot hatch from card #2.
