Description: The 1988 Belgian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on 28 August 1988. It was the eleventh race of the 1988 Formula One World Championship. The 43-lap race was won from pole position by Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna, driving a McLaren-Honda.
Description: Senna began his motorsport career in karting, moved up to open-wheel racing in 1981, and won the 1983 British Formula Three Championship. He made his Formula One debut with Toleman-Hart in 1984, before moving to Lotus-Renault the following year and winning six Grands Prix over the next three seasons.
Description: The McLaren MP4/8 was the Formula One car with which the McLaren team competed in the 1993 Formula One World Championship. The car was designed by Neil Oatley around advanced electronics technology, including a semi-automatic transmission, active suspension and traction control systems that were developed in conjunction with McLaren shareholder Techniques d'Avant Garde (TAG).[1] It was powered by the 3.5-litre Ford HBD7 V8 engine.

Description: Gambler Chassis Co. designed what would become one of the most popular new outlaw sprint racing chassis designs in decades in 1980. Due to Honda's existing deal with Williams which allowed that team exclusive use of the 1987-spec RA167E unit, Lotus instead used the previous season's RA166E. As part of the deal, Lotus agreed to sign Honda's test driver Satoru Nakajima as teammate to Ayrton Senna.
