Description: The Sawtooth Mountain Range is part of the Rocky Mountains in central Idaho, climbing to 10,751ft at the summit of Thompson Peak. Spanning 678 sq miles through Custer, Boise, Blaine, & Elmore county, it's bordered to the east by the Sawtooth Valley and surrounded by the Sawtooth Wilderness, part of the Sawtooth NRA and Sawtooth National Forest. AND, it's absolutely stunningly gorgeous. The rest of the world might think Idaho is only good for its potatoes, but true Idahoans know their state boasts some of the prettiest scenery around.
