A bind rune (Icelandic: bandrún) is a ligature of two or more runes. They are extremely rare in Viking Age inscriptions, but are common in earlier (Proto-Norse) and later (medieval) inscriptions. On some runestones, bind runes may have been ornamental and used to highlight the name of the carver.

Semicolons represent a place where a sentance could end; but did not. This design depicts a teal and purple semicolon in honor of suicide awareness.

This is a drawing done for the Community Reach Center in my hometown. It is apart of the Semicolon Project that promotes suicide prevention and mental health awareness. A pause in life but not an end. We can climb out of negativity and find solace.
