Skate Destroy Mugs
Description: Skate Rags was a Southern California based clothing company that operated from the mid-1980s to early 1990s. Their tagline was "To Fit and Survive" and as such, marketed their apparel as being a bit more durable, though not sure if that was just marketing bs or if there was any truth to it, I just know my SR gear didn't fare much better than any of my other stuff. Nonetheless, Skate Rags had some cool designs and built up a great following, but as the skateboarding landscape changed in the 90s, they struggled to find their place and folded. Their team riders included Mike McGill, Tom Groholski, Monty Nolder, Sam Cunningham, Ben Schroeder, Mark Partain, and Rob Mertz, to name a few. Rip it up!

Description: While most know Go Skate as the mailorder skateboard heavyweight of the '80s with ads in every skateboard magazine, Californians know them best for their brick and mortar skate shops, four of them to be exact. They actually got their start in 1975 and went on to dominate the lucrative mail-order market with their flat-priced complete setups. They tossed in their house stickers with every order, making them a pretty common sight on skateboards, cars, and ramps just about everywhere skaters could be found.

They actually got their start in 1975 and went on to dominate the lucrative mail-order market with their flat-priced complete setups. This design came about ten years later when the shop played off of their name and added this Go Skate Or Go Home design as both t-shirts and stickers. While you had to pop for the shirts, they tossed the stickers in with every order, making them a pretty common sight on skateboards, cars, and ramps just about everywhere.
