Description: Firehose (stylized as fIREHOSE) was an alternative rock band formed in the spring of 1986 in San Pedro, California. The band played their first gig in June 1986, and over the next seven and a half years, they developed their dynamic synthesis of punk, funk, and free jazz while touring nonstop. Firehose played 980 gigs, released five full-length albums and two EPs before disbanding in 1994. 'Cuda Bake was the band's last tour, which included 71 gigs in 73 days across all 48 states and 3 Canadian provinces for good measure.
