Skytree Mugs
Description: The Tokyo Skytree began 'life' in 2008, and became the tallest structure in Japan by 2010. When it was finished and opened in 2012 it had become the tallest tower in the world, and the second tallest structure after the Burj Khalifa. Taken in spring 2013 when the Skytree was still brand-new, the photography in this design also features the Japanese icon, sakura (cherry blossom).
Description: The map captures the dense urban complexity of the city, highlighting iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower, the Tokyo Skytree, and Roppongi Hills, while also showcasing key transit hubs like Shinagawa Station. The aesthetic blends traditional cartography with a modern, graphic-novel feel, using bold outlines and a distinct 3D perspective to bring the sprawling metropolis to life.
